As of today I am going to attempt to do weekly 44 hours fasting from Friday 20 February 26 to at least through Mars. Two nights and one day 44 hours fasting.
Friday is föstudagur in Icelandic which means fasting day.
The days in Icelandic are, sunnu (sun), mánu (moon), þriðju (three), miðviku (mid week), fimmtu (fifth), föstu (fasting), lauga (wash) – all ending with the word dagur (day).
